The True Leadership Intensive
Closing the Critical Capacity Gap that traditional leadership development was never designed to address.

Everything an organization needs to evaluate the True Leadership Intensive, from the case for a capacity-based approach to the results leaders report, laid out in four parts to read in order.
Part One - The Possibility
The Critical Capacity Gap
Organizations spend over $90 billion annually on leadership development. The results don’t match the investment. And given what’s at stake, we need them to.
We consistently equip leaders with knowledge and training on what to do - but fail to help them become the leader who can actually see what needs to be done, and do it. That gap isn’t created by a lack of knowledge or skill. It’s created by a lack of awareness.
The critical gap for leaders isn’t knowledge or skills…
It’s the capacity to see clearly, choose wisely, and act decisively.
Part Two - The Program
Five Weeks, One Real Challenge
A 5-week live group program, run in cohorts of 4–5 leaders. Each participant identifies a real, current adaptive challenge - their Big Potential - and works through it with a facilitator across five guided sessions.
Participants don’t just move the needle on the challenge they bring in. They leave with a repeatable process for growing through any adaptive challenge they’ll ever face.
Part Three - The Pilot
Put It to Work, Measure the Value
Most leadership development is judged by whether participants enjoyed it. TLI is built to be judged by what it changes. We begin with a focused pilot of four leaders, and before the work starts, each participant connects a specific adaptive challenge to a Big Potential and to the organizational goals they’re responsible for.
That puts the baseline and the measures in place from day one, so at the end you can see what moved, what it made possible, and what it was worth.
Part Four - The Proof
What Actually Changes
Hear directly from leaders about the real progress they’re making on the challenges that have kept them from showing up fully and delivering on the outcomes that matter most. These are the challenges that tend to persist despite feedback, training, and other external interventions, like:
- Holding back in high-stakes rooms instead of speaking up
- Avoiding the direct conversation that would move the team forward
- Waiting for perfect clarity before taking action
- Getting pulled into the urgent instead of leading strategically
